Richard Thomas is a 30-year technology industry veteran with deep expertise in pharmaceutical services. For over a decade, Mr. Thomas served as a key member of the leadership team at Quintiles, retiring in October 2016 as President, Technology & Solutions. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Quintiles Executive Committee which led the company through its IPO in 2013. He was directly responsible for the creation and growth of Quintiles’ award-winning technology business and Infosario product line with 2,400 employees operating in over 100 countries. Prior to joining Quintiles, Mr. Thomas held increasingly senior global leadership positions across a variety of industries, including consulting, technology product development, financial services, and consumer marketing/intelligence.

Mr. Thomas currently serves as President and CEO of R Ventures and as Chairman of the Board at Linden portfolio companies Aptitude and Aspirion, as well as board member at Linden portfolio companies ERG, Specialty Networks, and RQM+. He also serves as Chairman of the Board at Trialbee and serves on the board of Signant Health, as well as advisory board roles at Change Healthcare, Datavant, and VitalTrax.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Wales.
