Linden Capital Partners Raises $750 Million for Fund III
Chicago, IL (March 5, 2015) – Linden Capital Partners (“Linden”), a Chicago-based healthcare private equity firm, announced the closing of its third private equity fund, Linden Capital Partners III, L.P. (“Fund III”).
Fund III was significantly oversubscribed and closed at its hard cap of $750 million in total capital commitments, exceeding its target of $600 million. “We are very fortunate for and appreciative of the continued support from our investors, including some of the country’s most prestigious endowments, public and private pension funds, financial institutions, and other institutional investors. Since Linden Capital Partner’s inaugural fund in 2005, Linden has pursued an investment strategy in private equity focused on adding significant value to middle-market healthcare companies in the medical products, services, diagnostics, distribution, and pharmaceutical sectors, among others. Leveraging healthcare, operating, and human capital expertise is at the core of Linden’s approach. This unique strategy has resonated with the investor community and led to raising Fund III in less than three months. During the deployment phase of Linden’s second fund, the partnership continued to add firm resources including four investment professionals, three operating partners, and a head of human capital.
