Michael Fiore Joins Linden as Operating Partner
CHICAGO, Illinois (August 7, 2017) – Linden Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused exclusively on healthcare, today announced that Michael Fiore joined the firm as an Operating Partner. Mr. Fiore currently serves as Senior Executive with McKesson Specialty Health following McKesson’s acquisition of Vantage Oncology in 2016, and will continue in that role.
Mr. Fiore is a veteran healthcare services executive who spent the last 37 years in physician-driven businesses. Mr. Fiore started his career in public accounting before joining American Medical International, a publicly traded hospital operator that is now a part of Tenet Corporation. Mr. Fiore spent 11 years at Salick Healthcare, an operator of outpatient cancer centers and dialysis clinics, ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer. After Salick, Mr. Fiore served as Chief Executive Officer of Interdent, a dental service organization, and oversaw growth from five to 250 offices within four years.
In 2002, Mr. Fiore co-founded Vantage Oncology, a developer and operator of multi-specialty oncology treatment centers and a cancer care management company, and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Under Mr. Fiore’s leadership, Vantage developed from start-up to 51 centers in 14 states.
Mr. Fiore holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Anthropology from Amherst College, a Master of Science in Accounting from New York University, and a Master in Business Administration from Harvard University. He currently sits on the board of California Cryobank.
