Expertise in Divestitures
Investments in non-core operations of corporate parents produce superior results. Both independent research and Linden’s own investment experience have shown that maturing businesses within large corporations often receive insufficient resources to sustain their competitive market positions. When adequately resourced and repositioned for growth, these companies are capable of unlocking enormous latent value.

Linden is focused on forming long-term relationships with senior management and key business unit managers at healthcare and life science companies to identify and purchase corporate divestitures. The team has built a competitive advantage in its ability to source corporate spin-offs through its corporate relationship program and in its ability to execute these complex transactions. Corporate divestitures often require unique management attention post-acquisition when compared to other private equity investments and the team has built an expertise in sourcing and owning this type of investment.

Linden believes our partnership approach is ideally suited for transaction structures that enable existing owners to maintain a significant equity interest.

In addition to divestitures, Linden invests in independent businesses that can benefit from the Linden Resource Network and Linden’s Value Creation Program.
