Dr. J. Stark Thompson is the former President, CEO and member of the board of directors of Life Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: LTEK). During his 12-year tenure with Life Technologies, he successfully grew the business to revenues of $450 million and increased shareholder value 900%. Prior to his role at Life Technologies, he had a successful 21-year career at the DuPont Company where he held a number of positions globally, culminating in leading the Clinical Systems Division. He is currently the non-executive Board Chair of Gene Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLGC). Dr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science from Muskingum College and a MSc and Ph.D in Physiological Chemistry from The Ohio State University.
