Prior to founding Linden in 2002, Eric Larson was Executive Vice President and Managing General Partner of First Chicago Equity Capital (FCEC). He was a founding partner of FCEC in 1991 and its senior investment professional and strategist. He was previously a Partner at First Chicago Venture Capital, now Madison Dearborn Partners.

Eric has been a board member of more than a dozen public and private companies, including several roles as non-executive chairman and committee chairs. He is a member of various scientific-related committees at Harvard College, the Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization and the Illinois Nature Conservancy. Eric has an undergraduate degree in biology from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
